Whatever the season, Bluegums Cabins is the perfect romantic retreat.

If you want to be spoiled for that Special occasion, take a stroll to the A La Carte restaurant. Both of our cabins are also self-contained, offering a kitchen with modern appliances in a cosy open-plan setting. Cook up a storm in the cabin's kitchen or slap up a feast on the veranda BBQ. *

We'll get you "started" with your stay by spoiling you with some complimentary treats – farm fresh eggs, jams, tea & coffee. We'll even bake you one of our famous loaves.

Picture yourself unwinding in peace on the cabin's veranda, slowly soaking in a heavenly spa, cuddling up in the warmth of a log fire or simply laying in bed gazing up at the stars.

If you're feeling a little more energetic, you could always try your hand at a game of tennis, splash out in the pool or take a hike to Chichester Dam or a walk on one of the many forests trails. * restaurant has limited operating times & booking is recommended.

  • Summer is a great time of the year to visit the Barringtons. Being adjacent to rain forests, bush fires are not a threat. Great for a swim, a game of tennis, a bush walk, dangle your feet in cooling Jerusalem creek or --
  • A scenic drive to other parts of the 85,000 hectre Barrington Tops or --
  • Visit the wineries at historic Stroud and Gresford or a short trip to friendly Dungog, Stroud or Trendy Morpeth with it's great Cafe's, art & gift shops culture---or
  • Take in a Movie in Dungog the oldest operating Theatre in NSW http://www.jamestheatre.com.au/now_showing.htm - (Film festival is on again from 29th May)
  • Dine at the A La Carte Restaurant next door or great new "Chillbillies" in town (bookings recommended)
  • Go on a horse ride through the 200 acre estate and then maybe ---
  • Have a Luxurious Massage in the comfort & privacy of your cabin.
Need Accommodation for your Pet- You can see why we cant have any pets here. But don't despair our good friends offer top class Pet accommodation and are only 14 km south of Dungog, on the way to Bluegums !

Boarding Rates are - Dogs and or cats - $10 each per day.
