Encounter abundant wildlife, from hopping pademelons to playful kookaburras. Look out for king parrots, yellow-tailed cockatoos, wallabies, pademelons, echidnas, goannas, bowerbirds, and the occasional koala sighting. Be prepared for cheeky and entertaining encounters with the residents.

The cabin also has a fully equipped kitchen and a BBQ, allowing for self-contained convenience.

“Such a slice of heaven! So relaxing and the perfect place to go to slow down, connect with nature, and remember what is really important. I loved all the wildlife that visited my cabin whenever I relaxed out in the hammock. The quiet and calmness of the bush was so enjoyable. Bring along everything you need to entertain yourself, or enjoy walking through the estate, or a visit to the dam. If you are in need of a fancy coffee or sweet treats, then be sure to visit Dungog (20mins drive) and stop at Meg’s kitchen – so many delicious options. Nights by the fireplace were toasty and hypnotic while listening to the nocturnal animals getting up to mischief, and the big comfy bed was perfect for a good night’s sleep. I awoke refreshed and eager to enjoy another day and was so very sad when I had to leave. Highly recommend this place to escape the rat-race and enjoy some peace and quiet.”

“So peaceful and tranquil, with many visits from animals. The King Parrots were just stunning. As well as visiting Chichester Dam, we enjoyed a few of the nearby walks in the Barrington Tops National Park. The 16km return Rocky Crossing trail was the most spectacular”
