The Possum Cabin – described by our Guests
“A wonderful place to disconnect from the world and recharge. Just sitting on the verandah surrounded by nature is often what we all need and Bluegums delivers. Would highly recommend for a weekend couple getaway”.
“Absolutely incredible. serene, tranquil & cosy. didn’t want to leave, but when we did we felt recharged and at peace within ourselves. 10/10, hope to return”
“The possum cabin is such a unique experience, we loved every minute. The property/location is so beautiful. Walking amongst the trees we saw many wallabies and an abundance of bird life. There were so many gorgeous birds who would perch on nearby trees while we were relaxing on the balcony hammocks. The cabin is true to it’s name – we had a mother and baby possum visit us during our stay – literally the cutest creatures I’ve ever seen up so close. The manual inside the cabin detailed surrounding hikes, Dungog highlights and historic facts. We would definitely recommend Bluegums Cabins to anyone who is a nature lover”
“Quiet, nature and perfect for a couple’s getaway
Great place to get away, nestled in the bush, private verandah with hammocks to enjoy nature. Made friends with some King parrots, lots of wildlife, saw an echidna, and fireflies were amazing to watch at night. Spent some time hiking and in Dungog for lunch but coming back to cabin was the highlight”
“Best Escape
We had a long weekend away and stayed in Possum cottage. It was the best cottage with an open fire, a spa over looking the beautiful landscape (& a family of wallabies). Perfect with mountain bikes in nearby National Park and at Dungog common and a hike to the waterfall. It was private enough that you almost believe you are alone but close enough to see the owners should you require them. The photos do not do this premises justice. Thanks so much for this stay”
“We came here to celebrate our 30th Wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. A cozy, comfortable cabin in beautiful scenery. Loved the hammocks, four poster bed , spa bath and the log fire which made for a romantic escape. Our hosts were so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend”
