Welcome to your beautiful romantic getaway at Bluegums. Nestled on a hill, our beautiful hexagonal Nest cabin offers the perfect escape for couples seeking tranquillity and romance with beautiful views of the Australian bush.

As you arrive at your Nest one of the first things you will hear is the welcoming sound of the Bellbirds. Inside the Nest, you will find exposed timber ceilings that add to the. The beautiful 4 poster queen bed will invite you to unwind and enjoy peaceful slumber. Pamper yourself in the double spa bath, where you can soak away all your worries and during the winter months, cosy up by the gorgeous wood fire.

While enjoying breakfast on the deck keep an eye out for the koala who has been spotted in the nearby gum trees. You will also have the pleasure of encountering wallabies, pademelons, king parrots, kookaburras, echidnas, bower birds, and a host of other incredible wildlife species.

The kitchen within the cabin is fully equipped, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave so you won’t have to leave.

A perfect romantic getaway where you can relax after exploring the beautiful Barrington Tops National Park…or just a wonderful spot to just relax and take in the wildlife from the comfort of your beautiful cabin.

"A tranquil cabin nestled amongst the tree tops. beautifully equipped and made for a very romantic getaway. Great use of tennis court and pool. Loved the visits from all the wildlife. Highly recommend!"
“Absolutely loved our weekend stay here! Thoroughly enjoyed the rocky crossing walk and beautiful (but very chilly) stream and waterfall at the bottom, the loop drive also had some beautiful views. The Chichester Dam was really cool to explore on the morning just after we checked out. Also had a great time visiting Dungog – the nursery, local produce market on Saturday morning, Meg’s Kitchen, and the visitor centre was also helpful! We would definitely love to come back soon. The fireplace was so nice. Overall an awesome experience

“Bluegums heavenly retreat – “Couldn’t rave more highly about Bluegums Nests. What a wonderful escape into bush paradise. This was our second visit to Bluegums (if that’s not testament enough), but our first stay in the nests (as opposed to the cabins, which are also delightful). The nests though are an apt description for being up amongst the trees and with all the beautiful parrots and kookaburras and bell birds. Just divine.”
