Bluegums Cabins Barrington Tops

Similar to Sydney/Newcastle but a bit cooler in winter. Can be unpredictable so pack a jumper/jacket. Cabins are very cosy and have air-conditioning and a log fire. You can check the suburb “Bandon Grove” on your phone for accurate weather.
  • Food and drink supplies – we are 20 mins from closest shops in Dungog. The kitchen is fully equipped, and each cabin has a BBQ. We also recommend bringing an esky to bring home items from the fridge J
  • Beach towel for pool or if visiting waterfalls/waterholes (Linen and bath towels are supplied)
  • Bring adequate clothing for the season – there are some great walks so closed in hiking boots or trainers. A hat for the J
  • Small backpack and water bottle for if you go bushwalking.
  • A torch in case you decide to take a wander around the estate at night. It’s a great way to spot the Tawny Frogmouths.
  • Bug spray/mosquito coils
  • Mountain bike (great tracks in Dungog) Bike hire also available in town from Speedy Bikes
  • A camera…. a good book….fishing gear
You can easily self-cater in your cabin as they are fully equipped and have BBQ’s but if you want to eat out there is a wonderful selection of cafes and pubs in Dungog which is a 20-minute drive away. There you will find a well stocked IGA supermarket, a Co-op, providors, butcher and bakery.

Once you book you will receive full directions and we also text the morning of arrival. Our closest town is Dungog and the biggest landmark to us is Chichester Dam, 5 mins away.

We are a 2.5hr drive from the start of the M1 and just over an hour from Newcastl
